Camp Description

“Teaching technical abilities combined with tactical ideas into young players pursuing soccer excellence"

Come join head coach Terry Davila and the renowned Northridge University coaching staff in a competitive camp for those serious about achieving soccer excellence. A highly competitive soccer clinic introducing boys and girls ages 8-13 to the life and training of an elite level athlete and soccer player.

Players will be taken through sessions encompassing the key components of modern professional soccer and have individual attention.

Day 1: Transition- Physical and mental ability to transition

Day 2: Offensive- Penetrating soccer, running forward, deadly in front of goal

Day 3: Defensive- 1 on 1 defending, immediate high pressure

Day 4: Games- Full play, total soccer

Camp Includes

Dynamic warmup, technical first session, Informational break/ snack and hydration, competitive second session

Age appropriate informational and entertaining breaks

-Health nutrition

-Guest speakers

-Video analysis

-Games

-Player demonstrations

Water and Gatorade will be provided

Player Evaluations

Players will compete to win prizes

-Guest at a CSUN D1 mens/ women’s training session

-Ball boy/girl at a CSUN game

-CSUN signed jersey

-Nike, Gatorade, CSUN gear

Camp Staff

Young athletes will have the unique experience of being coached by currently elite coaching staff as well as current collegiate players, professional guests and facilities.

Terry Davila- CSUN/ Real So Cal and U.S. Academy head coach, voted Big West coach of the year 5 times

Zachary Feldman- CSUN Defensive Coordinator, Real So Cal U18’s U.S. Academy Coach, Academy 2013 coach of the year, Sweet 16 and 4 NCAA appearances

Juan Florez- CSUN Offensive Coordinator, Professional LA Blues Head coach 2012, international professional player for 5 years

Rob Kodama- Head Coach Crespi Carmelite High School 1995-2015, director of K-Sports Soccer Camps
